"Tomorrow's Yesterday" Radio Airplay Takes Off! - thanks Brian Klausing & Acoustic Rainbow...
Question: What does Judy Collins (As in Suite: Judy Blue Eyes), Stephen Stills & Mike have in common?? Besides living on the same planet?
Answer: They have all been released on the same Volume 38 Acoustic Rainbow Radio Promo CD (Poetman Records) with a total of 18 fantastic artists from around the country!
Judy is promoting her latest release "Paradise" by putting out a duet with none other then old flame Stephen Stills & Mikes song "Twenty too Late", a tribute to Stills & the Folk-Rock migration from Greenwich Village NY to the Sunset Strip LA circa '65 - has been selected as one of the accompanying songs on the promo to over 1300 radio stations around the world.
Also included on this release is Vince Gill doing a beautiful duet featuring an artist named Trisha Gagnon-Judy And Stephen perform a classic song "Last thing on My Mind" written by the late great Tom Paxton -Poetman records Producer Bryan Klausing has been very supportive of Mike's music for many years dating back to 2001 when he selected Mike's song "Edge of Dawn" for inclusion on Vol. 10 which wound up securing Mike a contract with the CBC (Canadian Broadcast Corp) for the same song. Mike's title track "Out of the Darkness" also was included on Volume 36 with Don McLean (American Pie).
The latest Acoustic Rainbow Radio Airplay Report shows feedback from DJ's around the US & several foreign countries spinning "Out of the Darkness" on their shows, also confirmed by the lastest ASCAP survey. Previous Acoustic Rainbow releases have featured new tracks from Roger McGuinn, Willie Nelson, Pete Seeger, Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, John Cowan, Ani DiFranko and more! What is truly amazing is how incredibly good the other unknown or less known artists are on the Rainbow. It is an honor to be included in such company.
